Founded in 2026 by multidisciplinary artist Marianne Spurr, Fruits Studio is an experimental textile and art studio housed in a 19th-century townhouse in Brooklyn, New York.

Fruits is an extension of her wider studio practice, which is rooted in slow-craft and a sensitive dialogue with found materials and process. Marianne likens her practice to gardening, or tending a landscape: “you plant some seeds and see what takes root… these materials are constantly shifting and in flux, like in nature.”

Fruits Studio creates seasonal collections of handcrafted and collectible objects, alongside found pieces and curiosities. Shaped by her Japanese and British heritage and a love of pattern, texture and time-worn materials, Marianne is drawn to the histories and traces held within things: their imperfections and past lives. Fruits Studio brings these materials into an open-ended dialogue that sits between art, craft and the home.
